Simple Machines SDK

(1/2) > >>

Shane74340Plus:
I would like to see something along the lines of what Dropbox offers: A SDK for all Simple Machines software. Like Dropbox, it should be cross-platform too, for languages like Python, PHP, .NET, Ruby, Java, Apple Platforms, and Android, etc. The SDK could include login / logout functions, authentication via membergroup, post to board, etc.

IchBin™:
I think you mean an API. SDK is a little different than what you are describing. There is an API that's been posted here for the things you are mentioning.

Thanks.

I'll def. look into the REST API.

MrPhil:
Between SSI.php and the smCore project, that might take care of much of your request. I don't know about cross platform to non-PHP languages, as SMF is written in PHP. Maybe there's a way to mix PHP and other languages?
