Upgrade from 1.1.16 to 2.0.2 - major changes?

Hi,

Looking at doing this upgrade but am not sure what changes come with it. Does the templating system change? (i.e. will I have to upgrade the template immediately after upgrade or will my existing one just work?).

Had a quick look around but rather short on time so have probably missed the obvious release note or something.

Any assistance appreciated.

Templates and source files change. Any existing mods will likely be lost.

I don't run many mods - they aren't my concern really.

So i'll need to create a new template essentially? Or do they largely use the same css files.

Looking:
When you upgrade the new templates are included, you have a choice between the new curve default or the old core design. Posts, members, etc. remain the same.

Insight:
Right, so my existing custom template will be incompatible... damn.

Anyone got some more hours in the day I could borrow? :)
