Bericht wordt niet volledig geplaatst (DUTCH) Nederlands

Hoi!

Ik heb een weekje terug SMF geherinstalleerd op mijn wordpress website. Echt zit ik met een probleem.

Berichten worden maar deels geplaatst als ze te lang zijn. Zeer frustrerend ook voor mensen die een heel verhaal typen. Ik zelf ook. Als ik een lang verhaal plaatst kan ik het bericht gewoon posten. Hij is dan helemaal zichtbaar. Echter als ik dan uitlog op het forum en weer inlog is het bericht deels ingekort. De laatste regels zijn gewoon ineens weg.

Ik heb al gekeken bij maximale bericht lengte enzo maar dit staat gewoon goed. Staat gewoon op 0 of wel , geen limiet.

Iemand enig idee want ik kom er niet uit.

Are these messages being written in a word processor such as "MS Word" and cut and pasted into SMF? If so, are they disappearing at the point of certain "Smart Quotes" characters, such as quotation marks or dashes? One suggestion that sometimes works is to convert to UTF-8 encoding, as some browsers will convert "Smart Quotes" characters in pasted text into the proper ones. But, nothing is guaranteed. SMF needs to handle pasted text from "Word" correctly, doing the character conversions itself, but the developers have stated that will not be done.

Zijn deze berichten worden geschreven in een tekstverwerker zoals "MS Word" en knippen en plakken in SMF? Als dat zo is, worden ze verdwijnen op het punt van bepaalde "Smart Quotes" tekens, zoals aanhalingstekens of streepjes? Een suggestie die soms werkt is om te converteren naar UTF-8-codering, zoals sommige browsers zal "Smart Quotes" tekens om te zetten in de geplakte tekst in de juiste degenen. Maar, niets is gegarandeerd. SMF moet geplakte tekst verwerken van "Word" correct, het doen van de karakter conversie zelf, maar de ontwikkelaars hebben verklaard dat niet zal gebeuren.

Thanks man!!

It happened any time. While copying text from word and also when just typing a message.

I looked at my langage folder. I installed the ducth language folder. But there were 2. One with UTF-8 and just o normal one. Now i installed the UTF-8 one and it looks like the problem is solved!!!
