Undefined index: message in ...Sources/shout.php

I am receiving many of these errors after installing the shout box from Mr. Grudges package server.
GREAT mod!
No errors viewable anywhere on pages. Works great!
However, in my error log I have these in my error log everytime someone posts in the chat box:

Apply Filter: Only show the errors with the same message   2: Missing argument 2 for db_query()

Line: 104
When I click the link in error log, the page displays this:

Notice: Undefined index: message in ...Sources/shout.php on line 186
Notice: Undefined index: displayname in .../Sources/shout.php on line 197

and below it is states:

An Error Has Occurred!
Whoops, looks like you forgot to fill in one of the Shoutbox fields. Please try again.
But there is only a Message Box  and a Shout Button and a View All link?


Now normally it is stated these are in need of language file update, but I am running Beta 5?
It is not urgent as the users are oblivious to these errors and only appear in error log or if I click on link in error log it refers to.

Can you please help?

Ummm... not really sure how the first errors occured but fixed the second one. Updated package on my server...
