Hi guys, just recently started to use smf, and very much appreciate all the effort and support you guys offer. I was just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of where to start looking as I have a slight issue I hope to resolve.
The quick_sticky.gif appears in too many columns on my forum.



I have tried to highlight the problem. I would like the sticky symbol to just appear in the 'Subject' column and not  'Started by' and 'Replies/Views'. Removing it from all columns is also a possibility as I am using clean thread icons which appears to offer its own sticky anyway.

Here is a list of recently installed mods.

Running SMF 2.0.2. (Vertex theme) I would just like to be pointed in the right direction with a rough idea on what files/code to edit. I have never run a forum, and never used php so it's a steep learning curve i've been enjoying. Many thanks :)

Thanks for the replys guys, and even well any acknowledgement at all. Thanks for the support, I have now decided to keep them as they are, and instead just remove the copyright from smf, after all you guys did hold up to your end of the bargain, you know the 'no copyright, no support'. I feel as I owe it to you now to remove the copyright, otherwise you just look like a bunch of ***** who pick and choose who they decide to acknowledge :)

And to answer your question best I can, It's because of this MOD ...

8.    Separate the sticky topics    1.0.0

It puts sticky topics in their own column up top, to make them stand out as sticky topics I suppose it just makes the sticky image appear in every column it can so it stands out even more.  Try asking in that MOds support topic where you'd get a more definite answer. 

I mean, it has to do with a sticky topic, your issue revolves around the sticky image, you have a MOD installed that affects sticky topics ...

Not all problems can be solved immediately and in a timely manner. It's unfortunate that no one responded earlier to your query but that usually happens if the people available at the time don't actually have an immediately answer or the skills/knowledge to provide a response.
