Custom Board Icons do not display "on2.png" icons, only on.png, off.png.

Hello, when i first created my theme,
I set the off image to a BW image, the On image to the Colord version, then on2 to an actual Blinking GIF.
Before i installed CBI, All three of these images displayed properly on the board.




Before CBI i had these icons display on my site. The gifs blinked and everything on the actual board.
I wanted to spice up the site by having different icons relating to the board instead of this icon for every board.

Now that I installed CBI, I set all of my custom icons in the right place, and i even se the on2.png icons, the same way i did originally in their respected folders. but they do not display.

Troubleshooting notes:
with CBI installed: Off.png changes to on.png like they are supposed to, but on2.png does not activate.
If you delete the on2.png files from CBI, nothing happens, all the icons continue to display regardless of how many posts have been made.

If You delete the on2.png file from the normal directory without CBI installed, there will be a boxed out [?] when many posts are made (when it tries to activate the icon for on2.png)
-So basically, if i repeat the method right above with CBI installed, everything still displays. 


Did CBI take out the code for an on2.png icon? thats what it seems like.
My board shows gray images like its supposed to when nothing has happened,
 then they color up when a new post is made.
Its supposed to blink when A LOT of posts are made instead of a few, and they don't blink on CBI.
Anyone know why?

I apologize, That would have been a good place to start, just wasn't sure because i tied in some default questions as well.
I would appreciate it if this could be moved there.
