Only a few days left before google changes policys !
nightbre:
Ok Google will change policy soon meaning you wont be able to delete saved web history they have on your browsing habits. I wont go into any detail but for whatever reasons if you dont want google to store this info related to you then you must delete it before the changes come into effect.
Login to google then click your name and go to account settings, from there look down and youll see web history. Go into this and delete whatever you need to and then turn history off. Google can still collect history after next week but wont be able to associate it to you and after 18 months all your history should be deleted. (allegedly)
If this post isnt accurate to the letter then i apologise but it gives the gist of whats coming up and a heads up if you didnt realise about this either.

I typically don't read the terms and conditions of a site, so I may be in a position of ignorance here. So, what are the private things that Google will be sharing? My credit card information or where I visit after searching on something using Google or what I'm searching on?
nightbre:
It wont be anything like card details but all your web history through google for good or bad depending what you do online. May effect some people but not others, I had mine turned off all the time anyway so didnt effect me but still theyre not really given permission to log all the sites you go to ect so why should they keep history on us? Personally I dont trust google a lot considering the 'honest' mistakes they seem to make regular and fob it off as a glitch ie tracking wi-fi data using streetcars which were supposed to be taking pictures not scanning peoples wi-fi signals.
Bottom line is though if you prefer them to not keep as much on you as they may have delete it but if not no worries. ;)
N. N.:
Ah! Damn, I had forgotten about Google countdown. Thank you for the reminder, nightbre!

Turn it off? "Pause" it or did I miss something?
