ok it no longer shows without the www
If i delete the cookie it will allow me to see the site and do limited looking around, as soon as i try to log in i get the original error again

can you provide us with the actual url to your forum?

you seem to have your forum set to use the www. url so the other url will not work as the cookie etc is expecting you to be on the www version of the site if you do not want to use that version then use repair_settings.php and set the url to without www.
