integrate wordpress with this

I am trying to integrate the two, and heres my result

But one look at the source and you can see the problem, the integration includes the wordpress markup (in the header.php file, so thing like <head>...</head><body>) as well as the SMF ones,
so my question is how do I edit the SMF ones?

Hey, welcome to SMF! :) I think you have done a very nice job, it looks awesome. :D You would have to edit index.template.php for that, located in /Themes/your_theme, but you will need to copy some parts within the header tags, as important Javascript variables are set there. Those variables won't work when you copy them to your Wordpress theme, so you would have to set those variables manually, but that won't be a problem when it's only for your site, I guess. :) Good luck and keep us updated :P Oh and don't forget to backup :)

thanks, I tried to use phpbb but it got spammed right away, plus its kind of lame. I like the skins and how slick this is. I was going to use buddypress as a forum, but it looks confusing to newbies, SMF wont overuse resources and is very non-confusing to anyone.
