Should I use Blogger or Wordpress?

Hi guys, I want to start a blog for promoting affiliate stuff, such as reselling products.

I heard that wordpress is pretty cool, complete, but had some exp with blogger and noticed it is pretty fast to setup and you can copy and paste html templates, which one should I go with?

What setup are you wanting to use? A blog hosted by them (i.e. on there servers, wordpress.com), or using their packages to publish on your own website.

If it's the latter, I'd go with WordPress because of it's customizability and because it's just plane nicer to host everything locally. Unlike Blogger, where you go to their website to publish to yours.

If you're talking about them hosting it, well, it's a toss up really. Just depends on what features you're looking for.

If you want real simple, not real customizable blogging, do Blogger, if you want to have deep customization, or the ability to host the blog on your own domain name, go with WordPress.

gisfreak:
Wordpress is a good choice especially when you have a plan to make your own websites with your own domain

Personally I'd use blogger.. It's not as customizable but it allows you to have more exposure.
