Club system needed - mod, or from scratch?

Hi,
my team needs to have a website which has forum capabilities and, more importantly allows each member to set their own page up with info about themselves etc, which can then be freely browsed. I'd say YSE was almost ideal, but not quite. Any ideas anyone??

Spaceman-Spiff:
the YSE has something called the Bio Mod, which allows members to write something about themselves
you can slightly modified it so the Bio will show in an empty page if you want
