Deny a membergroup access to all boards except one

I have a group that I want limited to only one board, while allowing everyone else access to the 10 or so other boards I have as well as the last one.

I have tried everything.. I have all the groups selected to access the 10 regular boards, the timeout group is NOT selected, yet they can still access those boards. the only way it works is to uncheck the post based groups, which is not acceptable for this type of situation.. everyone has to be able to access the general areas of the board, and that includes all post based groups.

I want to exclude access to the majority of the forum except for this one timeout board but it just isn't working..

any suggestions?

This is why I used to have "All Members" as "Ungrouped Members" - but this is really related to Daniel D.'s post.
