Can't insatll Mod in 2.02

Hellow, when ever i try to install any Mod it says

You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!

i also put ftp detail but it fail & when i return to check files chomd all ok so pls help me what to do

Try creating a folder called "temp" in your /packages directory. See how that goes...

And make sure you CHMOD it to 777 or 755.
