Hi.
The following problem appears in IE, but not FF.

In the area at the top of the page where it displays your avatar, the "show unread posts" link and the "show replies" link, there is a border which appears to be incorrectly surrounding that area.  it's a bit hard to explain verbally, but if you take a look, i think it will jump out immediately to those who are highly familiar with what SMF is supposed to look like.

Did you try erasing cache and cookies? That worked for me after I upgraded to beta 4..

yes, i did try that.  i always clear cache after upgrade for good measure.  no luck in this case.
