Automatically lock new Topics in specified boards

Hello,

is there a way or a mod to automatically lock new topics in specified boards?

Or even better to only allow the topic started to write in those?

If I'm not wrong you can achieve that with permissions.
You can create a new profile where users have "post new topic" permission and "Post replies to topics" set to "own" and not to "any".

In 1.1.x you'd set it to use local permissions for that board, and just remove the ability for permissions as discussed above ;)
