Error with Pretty URLs

Just installed Pretty URLs, but when I try to enable it (rewrite urls) I get the following error:

Can anyone tell me what to do with this?

Same happens when I try to use Pretty URLs' maintenance tool.

Did you install it via the package manager?

Manual install, I followed the official instructions. Package Manager has never worked properly for me, and I've given up trying to fix it.

Manual instlal will cause that to happen you also have to execute the php script to install the tables.
