An auto post removal function?

One of the forums on my server has had a strange problem.  It was recently noticed that a large amount of old posts were moved to the Graveyard Board (a recycle board) on their own.  The sheer amount moved in such a small amount of time shows this is something automated, since no person could have done this, nor do any of the logs show any of the moderators or administrators doing any of this.  We could simply restore all the posts, but that isn't desirable.

The forum is running on SMF 2.0 Beta 3.1 Public
The Modifications installed consists of:

1.     SMF Arcade                                                     2.0.14     
2.    Users Online Today                                            1.5.2
3.    Show Local Url Titles                                    1.1    
4.    FavIcon                                                            1.1    
5.    Ad Managment                                            2.3.3    
6.    Recount Posts Maintenance                            1.1

8.    Simple Award System                                    2.0.0b    
9.    Recent posts user preference                      3.01    
10.    Auto Embed Video/Audio Clips                    3.0



Does anyone know what may possibly be causing this?  Or are we a bunch of idiots who missed something in the ACP?

If you move any post somewhere, there is a log in the moderator logs for sure. Crosscheck that thing, also check forum error logs. Find some errors from the maintenance. :D

I throughly checked the administrative, moderation and error logs and none of them indicate any movements or problems.  That's what led me to believe that this is an automated feature enabled somewhere.

Do you have the recycle option enabled? To check, go to Admin > Board > Settings. Someone must have turned it on. I don't believe this is on by default.

That is supposed to be on.  The problem here is that something is auto-deleting posts after certain amount of time of being originally posted.  The recycle function is actually what has prevented them from being permanently deleted.
