That's what I would have presumed, but many, like this one, seem to just make one post and run. Would it not be more logical to make all the minimum posts in one go so you can get straight down to business?  :-\

Most of the time these are failed bots.  The spammers can't even programme them right.

On the other hand, make a somewhat innocuous post, go away, and if they return a couple of days later and it's still there, that's the time to add in the profile signature and other links :(

Meanwhile the moderating team on decent sites get their teeth (or in K@'s case, claws) into the user :)
