Isnt it Time to add ckeditor or WYSIWYG Editor to SMF forum?

OK. It would seem to me that it would be relatively simple to modify the jscript function (assuming it is a jscript function) that generates the URL tags so the generated result is better than it is now.

Is there anyone who knows what file the tag generators are located in and, perhaps, point us in the right direction? That would be helpful. Solutions would be appreciated.  ;)

Hey keyrocks,

Once I finish my current project, I am going to port the editor from 2.1 over to 2.0.2 and provide it as a free package :)
This may take a while though, so don't expect something in the next week or so.

Now that's a positive note. I'll look forward to your ported editor for 2.0.2. In the meantime, I think I've found the function in scripts/edictor.js which generates the function-tags for the URL and will play with it a bit when I have some spare time.
