Cannot re declare "validate_invitation_key()"
darknova11:
Hi
I need help. No one can register on to my forum and the cause is this message.
The whole message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare validate_invitation_key() (previously declared in /home/u147155775/public_html/Forum/Sources/Register.php:914) in /home/u147155775/public_html/Forum/Sources/Register.php on line 975
I know it has something to do with invitation mod, but...?

Hi, welcome to SMF. :)
Could it be that you installed that mod twice maybe?
Anyways, could you please attach Register.php to you next post please.
darknova11:
Hi!
Thanks for welcoming greetings!
Now, I played a little with register.php and deleted out the lines that it seas has problems with
line 975 from line 914
and it solved my problem partially.
Her is my problem now
I dont know how to delete these two rows in registration form
I attached register.php that I'm using now witch has the new problem
as register.php
and the old register.php as regidter[bak]
Thanks for youre help!
Kays:
Cool glad you got that sorted out. :)
Since you seem to be sorta comfortable with editing files. The file you're looking for now is Register.template.php in the default theme folder.
Go to the download page for that mod. On the right is an option to "Parse". Parse the mod for your version SMF and it will show you all the edits this mod makes. Find the edits for Register.template.php and undo them. It might be an idea at the same time to check that the other edits this mod makes are properly undone.
darknova11:
Yes that was it!
I had to play a little with FTP and editing admin.php,managepremissions.php,register.php and registertemplate.php
as you told me to do.
So, the problem is fixed.
I'm starting to like this php and html stuff. 'am beginner but with few books and lot of free time...
THANKS
