Upgrade errors:

DreamBliss:
OK, so I made a SMF folder, uploaded all the files to it, and set all the permissions as per the instructions I read somewhere here. But I get this error:

"Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/nucleus/cgi-bin/SMF/upgrade.php on line 49

Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/nucleus/cgi-bin/SMF/upgrade.php on line 49"

When I try to go to upgrade.php. So what am I doing' wrong?

Are you sure the connection settings in Settings.php are right?

DreamBliss:
