I assume your going to continue on your Board.Index look? So far it looks very nice. Its also unique so its not like the other 10,000 themes. :P
Something I may suggest though is its a bit light. You may want to add a darker color in there somewhere.

It's supposed to kind of look like notebook paper. I'm trying to figure out how to get the blue lines to give a 100% span (crossing the red line). If I'm really good, I'll try to figure out how to get some 3-hole punches :P
All of the color changes have been made via color code (no graphics), so recoloring it will be very easy.

To do the holes I would use images and place them with css. if you do them similar to the catbg's (just an example to exemplify what I mean) and place one on the left or right then you might be able to make it work.

I was thinking something like that, or giving a gif/png (lite) image an absolute position. You're right though, Using 3 images floating would give it a more symmetrical look though. And it would (probably) be pretty easy to just place them at around 25% 50% 75%
