[Request] "Nomination" mod or poll addition

Ok, wondering if someone has done this or can make one....

I need to be able to setup a poll/nomination.  Where user's can have a "write-in" option if their choice isn't already there....and once it's written in, then other users can vote for it.

Basically attempting to do a "Member of the Month" type thing.

Thoughts or help would be appreciated.

So you would basically give your members the possibility to add entries to existing polls. Did I understand correctly?
Of course permissions are necessary I can imagine, but you'd better specify which you want. I would assume a check box in the new poll to make the poll "expandable", maybe you want a permission to allow or not that kind of polls based on membergroup, other?

Good idea, but you can always just ask them to suggest and then you expand it with another option. It won't be possible to show EVERYTHING people suggested without a ginormous list sitting around.
