Quote from: SleePy on March 18, 2012, 01:11:12 AMDoes Fedora have a good looking GUI and application support? Almost any Linux distribution aimed at desktop use has decent GUI tools nowadays. Ten years ago, it was a mess, but it's much better now. Application support is what it is. I can choose from several browsers (Firefox, Chrome/Chromium, Midori, Konqueror, Opera), several IM clients (Kopete, Pidgin), several Torrent applications (KTorrent, Deluge, Transmission, Vuze, qBitTorrent), a nice office suite (LibreOffice, KOffice), etc. Of course, anything that is OS X only or Windows only won't run.Quote from: SleePy on March 18, 2012, 01:11:12 AMNot sure if its your theme or if Fedora purposely is trying to look like Windows.I'm using the KDE spin of Fedora, and KDE has always looked a bit like Windows (with GNOME traditionally looking more like Classic Mac OS). I like the default panel layout, so I usually keep that. It wouldn't be too hard to change things around if I really wanted, however.

Not sure if its your theme or if Fedora purposely is trying to look like Windows.
Not necessarily true? Some programs listed as 'Windows Only' will work with WINE (or something similar), won't they?
