Please i need help to add sidebar

i am using smf ...my site is topnichez.com and i wish to add sidebar. i added 'ad management'
 
 if i choose 'Display ads on every page as a tower on the left side' or 'Display ads on every page as a tower on the right side', it will compress the forum width ....i need it to just stay on the free space. just check my site and understand what i meant.
i have 2 side empty space where i add 'skyscraper' style.
please who can help me to add it on my forum?

Surely, a sidebar will also compress the forum width, too?

For what it's worth, Simple Portal can be configured to have sidebars.

Would that be of any use, to you?

Yes for saying it but if i use the Portal. it will change my forum the way i dont like!!!
is there no code to add so i can have it by the side

If I remember rightly, you don't have to have the actual portal showing, unless you wat to. You can just have a sidebar.

I could be wrong about that. If doing that would help you, maybe you could ask in the support topic?

Simpleportal has the ability to use as 'integration'. Meaning it won't use the front landing page but it will use the blocks such for ads in the forum. I'd go that route.
