Serious ADMIN problem

Hello all

I am installing SMF 2.0.2 on Cpanel
On step 6, a message appeared telling me "Critical problem,  Cannot connect to ..."
i hit refresh with my browser and the FOrum is installed but i am not an Admin and there is no ADMIN at all in the users
i have registered a new user but i didnt know how to make it admin

i found this http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/I_deleted_myself but i didnt know where to write the query

i am still newbie and i like to DIY

You can write te query in PHPMyAdmin in CPanel

i did write
but they gave me a message "0 rows updated"

What was the query that you executed?

UPDATE smf_members SET ID_GROUP = '1' WHERE memberName = 'admin'

I have installed the SMF for 3 days and till now i am unable to use it :(
I don't have an ADMIN account!
