Two mods vs. One member

(1/2) > >>

ChalkCat:
I don't know really where to post this because I don't know where the problem is.  One of my members says he has a problem with Tapatalk.  It was working fine for him for about a week (since I installed it) but now he says he cannot access the forum via Tapatalk - that he has to log in via his browser first before Tapatalk lets him in.  Other members are using Tapatalk with no issues.

The reason I'm not posting this on the Tapatalk support thread is that this member's failed attempts at entering the forum via Tapatalk appear to be coinciding with his IP address being "denied" by Bad Behavior mod.  His IP now features several times in my Bad Behavior "denied" list.

This is a genuine member, please can anyone suggest a solution or even just a way to ascertain where the problem lies?  Thank you.

K@:
Just to try and narrow things down, can the Bad Behaviour mod be disabled?

If it can and it is, can he get in OK?

Arantor:
When it's turning up in the BB list, what exactly is the reason being given?

DENIED REASON:    Required header 'Accept' missing
EXPLANATION:    An invalid request was received from your browser. This may be caused by a malfunctioning proxy server or browser privacy software.
ERROR:    403

I will have to wait until next time he's online to test disabling BB.

Arantor:
Is he using the most recent version of Tapatalk on his mobile device? (Presuming you're using the latest version of Tapatalk yourself)

Basically: something's not providing all the information with the Tapatalk requests, but since other users aren't having trouble, it's not a generic Tapatalk problem, ergo it must be specific to that user's installation.
