Found Possible Bugs! [Solved]

I upgraded from 1.1.5 to 2.0 b3.1.

The install went fine, and the board worked well for awhile. However, the tables seem to be corrupting from time to time. The maintenance function seems to repair it though. I am using the theme "Recursive" by crip, which was made for 1.1.5.

I also tried the SMF 2/Joomla 1.5 bridge for a short time, but because there is no dual log in function available for that module, I abandoned it.

The problem I have encountered is this.

I set my log in to to always stay logged in"  That doesn't always work. Even though that option is enabled, from time to time, I have to log back in again... My user name shows up as being online, but in order to do anything, I need to log back in.

Also, on a fresh install, for another forum, the icons under "features and options" show up, but no text, or buttons are seen. There are also quite a few sub menus missing in the drop downs under "administration." This isn't always the case with various themes.

So far I've had no catastrophic problems with 2.0 b3.1. But I'm not holding my breath until I do. The basic features of the forum work alright, but this is a scary proposition.

I'll do what I can to continue putting this forum through some grueling tasks and contribute in whatever way I can to help improve this nice forum package.

Also, on that login issue. If I go click the forum window closed, and then come back to the forum from a link with the full URL to the forum, the login edit fields are there. However, if I click on my bright red user name at the bottom, it immediately goes to the forum with me apparently properly logged in. Hmmm....

Themes made for version 1.1.5 will not work properly on version 2.0 beta 3.1.

I did that, and it's still doing the same thing. As long as I log out, and back in, each time... it seems to work alright. I noticed that with my upgrade, much of the structure from 1.1.5 is still there. Also, the text descriptions for much of the administrative section is omitted. Even on the default template.

Try clearing your browser cache to see if it helps.

If that doesn't do it, see if this helps:

Go to Admin->Server Settings->Feature Configuration and see if you have the following options set:

Enable local storage of cookies -> Checked
Use subdomain independent cookies -> Unchecked
Use database driven sessions -> Checked
