Windows WEB server (IIS)

Sorry to ask... systemrequirements states that appache is required, but just to be sure. Is it possible to run SMF on IIS?

Yes it is. I run SMF on IIS.

As vbgamer45 said, it is, you will need to setup PHP as a module or via FastCGI and the configure the database as per usually.

Just be warned, if you not used too IIS it can be very daunting as it's not a quick and easy to setup/configure as some other web servers.
