In yabbse I used to add ip address, username and e-mail to the ban list.

In SMF you can only tick one and I was wondering what the different options do.

If I opt for ban Ip can that person still login with the username from a different computer?  Can they still use the e-mail that the banned id was registered with?

Is it possible to choose all options or isn't there any need?

Also  can you exclude hotmail and yahoo e-mail addresses from registration?

Just ban *@yahoo.com - to my recollection, that should do it.  Might be %@yahoo.com.

Sorry one last question.
If I did that would it prevent people already registered with yahoo addresses from posting or just stop future accounts being registered?
