I don't know why SMF would not work for a matrimonial website.

There is a reason why I asked.

To make any sort of really meaningful such site, you're going to need to do a buttload of custom coding. There are actually pre-made packages for such things these days, too, but even those you'll likely need to customise.

Well, I don't need too much advanced website, but a forum which looks like a website, in which the forums looks like page.

The member search would become matches search. Two groups of male and female will be created.. does these function require custom coding?
