SMF 2.0.2 Where is the $txt variable populated?

I have a simple problem, and I am not sure whether to ask this on the support board or the programming board -- because I am not sure if the answer is programming related, or simply a matter of navigating to the right page!


The question is simple --- Throughout programming this theme, I have noticed that $txt[] is used quite a bit for the determining of what to say and where. I'd like to know the best way to edit this wording -- whether form code, or from the admin center

I would delete this is I could, I have severely misunderstood the $txt system. It is apparently easy access to the languages files... Duh.
