I am running the tinyportal mod and this seems to be related to it, but what exactly does it mean?

I don't have the code to look at, but I suppose you might have something like $context[$elementName], where $elementName is supposed to be a string, but is undefined or empty in this case. At any rate, the TP support thread would be the proper place to ask.
