Backup/dump AND restore

Uhhmmm ok  ::), but there will be times that only the database is corrupted (or isn't that possible) and then it would be easy to restore it. I am just a simple user without many knowledge of SQL and so on and I guess that there are more users that would like this. There were several threads about this issue in de YabbSE forums.

I think you should do a lot of users a favor with that. I think the people on this forum who are participating now are most experienced people with knowledge about YaBB, MySQL en PHP. SMF should be of use for everyone and a set of utilities would help greatly. At least that is so for me. I don't have the time (yet) to learn about these issues but I LOVE this forumscript even now.
Until SMF is released I will use my iB (that makes it possible to restore) but then I go for the real thing :-)
