(1/1)

Acapella™:
Hello everyone. Recently i've started using "SMF" etc , and i've created a test forum , so i can spend my time on it , and learn something about it , how to modify etc. But i'm looking of something , that i possibly can't do it on my'self after so many days of trying , i decided to ask some help from SMF Forums.

1. Well i'm trying to learn how can i change the forums images, like for example to change the main header and put some kind another picture of my choise , or to re-design the same "image" with PS5 , and after it could work. But also i'm looking for someone can explain me the way that i can change each icon from the forum theme of my choise and re-design it the way i want or choose something from "google" for example , and after it can work. Please someone help me.

2. The 2nd thing i'm looking to "learn" or take some help/answers is about "admin".I'm looking to , how can i modify "admin" infos or whole forum.

for example : admin , moderators etc ...

i wanna learn how can i change , under the Administrator name , the icons that's show admin bar , it's like for admin are "red"
for moderators are "blue" etc. Help me with that please.

Tnx in advance. Best regards ~ Acapella™ ~

I'm assuming you are using SMF 2.0.2 as the latest version?

A lot of the styling images are linked from the index.css file.  In turn the standard images are generally in the ../themes/images folder.   Some of these images contain multiple components only part of which will be displayed using css image sprites.

With regard to the linked colours for admin, moderators, etc, these colors can be changed by going to the admin > members > membergroups and selecting the edit membergroups to modify the groups concerned.  Each group has an option for "color in online list" which you can edit to be any hex code i.e #FFFFFF is white.
