Wanting to modify 'Search' to 'include' 'full name' of board in results.

Wazza:
Hi all.

I would like to have my 'Search' look not just at the 'content' of each board but search the 'full name' and 'description' of my boards.

At current if I have a board called '1234' and search '1234' nothing comes up in search results? Unless I have a post within a board with '1234' contained in the text.

So Hoping this is an easy fix?

Also a bonus would to be able to put a something like a 'news box' that comes up below the displayed  results from a search. After the user makes the search entry

This 'news box' a site admin could pre-edit with suggestions or links here for users of their site. Giving users if they cannot find from a search what they are looking for, suggestions or links to other areas ideas to help them possibly find what they are looking for?

This may help on this site too?

As I say this would just be a bonus :)

What you're talking about is a huge amount of work. The search system is just not designed with that in mind, and it's a complete rat's nest of code to extend.

Wazza:
Okay then point taken, thank you.

Maybe someone could then move my post to future feature requests?

...last thought is it easy to add a google search at the top with search? and would this google seach then look at my board full name headings?
