Board Error
(1/1)
jimstone77:
After I upgraded, my moderator noticed he no longer has moderator privileges. When I went to modify permissions by board, I received the error message:
An Error Has Occurred!
The board you specified doesn't exist
The board does exist. I tried to modify permissions on other boards, and receive the same message. What is the problem?
andrea:
What exactly did you upgrade? From YabbSE to SMF? From SMF beta 4.0 to beta 4.1? Link to your forum?
P.S. Make sure you remove "install.php" and/or "upgrade.php" *before* you post the forum link here.
[Unknown]:
Did you edit any permissions? Have you checked that he is still listed as a moderator?

This is a known issue. You get this error when trying to modify permissions for a board when you're using global (group-level) permissions. Either edit the permissions by clicking Edit Permissions or click "local" next to the board you're trying to edit permissions for and then click "modify permissions". Basically, it's a case of the wrong error message being used for that situation. I believe the permissions system is getting overhauled for beta 5 anyway, so just ignore it for now.
