run soley by me using a home made news/content system which I'm gonna rewrite completely when I get my hands on SMF... and YaBBSE.

Only prob with the translation... is lik-sang screwed up my order... finally shipped today though...

Also... can you include two charset tags? coz I want it to display both english AND Japanese.

Thanx!

Well, you can't include two but you can use one that works for both.  I don't know what that is... but UTF-8 won't work for Japanese... because Japanese has way too many letters ;).

Yeah, I got something from lik-sang that was screwed up too... (not the order but the product.)  I tried to complain but it was just before they went down so I had to live with it :(.

Yep, I've written like 4 content management systems... three were crappy, two were flatfile... one was good.

Note that UTF-8 can be used for all languages and is the recommended charset on the Internet. Support for it is rapidly increasing. - quoted from: http://www.w3.org/International/O-charset-lang.html

Odd... I was under the distinct impression UTF-8 was UTF-8 because it only used 8 bits.... Japanese uses 16...
