Bug: topics staring with [url were not converted correct
7summits:
Test link
Just before really switching I noticed that all my posts that started with a link like this
--- Code: ---Somesite
--- End code ---
Got converted or displayed wrong in the public beta; seeing the example above shows that i's not a problem in the version you are using, but on my public beta board it looks like this:
--- Code: --- =travel&thesubsect ion=destination&theseconds ubsection=africa" target="_blank">Somesite
--- End code ---
See
http://www.7summits.com/smf/SSI.php?ssi_function=boardNews;board=10;limit=3;length=200
for 2 examples in last 3 posts.
Should I renew my subs.php or something?
Thanks,
7s
pulpitfire:
it shows up above, because you put it between code brackets.
i think you have to use the whole url in that kind of bracket e.g.
--- Code: ---click here.
--- End code ---
that always works for me.
7summits:
Yep, that always worked for me in Yabbse as well, but as mentioned above, not anymore in the public beta SMF, see examples, so probably some bug has entered the subs.php?
pulpitfire:
*goes and tries it on his board.
hmm...works for me.
*scratches head.
and you included the full path?
7summits:
Hey Pege,
if you go to the last 3 posts:
http://www.7summits.com/smf/SSI.php?ssi_function=boardNews;board=10;limit=3;length=200
you will see #2 & #3 begin with a strange URL, not as I entered it, in Yabbse they were ok.
I just noticed it's not only in the beginning of posts, check out this post:
http://7summits.com/smf/index.php/topic,367.0 --> the link in the first line and the link on the last line are both mangled since converting from Yabbse (see original yabbse post here:
http://7summits.com/forum/index.php?board=11;action=display;threadid=367;start=0 ).
What has happened? :-\
