Members and topics are in the database, so they'll be unaffected. But, if you don't know what the name of the database is, how are you going to connect to it, to do that?

So, you'll be in the same boat.

You NEED that name and prefix.

I know this is an old post, but how does one set the settings.php to 444 read only as mentioned in the post above.
