I recently updated from smf 1.1.x to 2.0 and have taken advantage of some of the awesome registration features.  The problem I'm having is with all the bots, etc. that registered on the previous version it made the member count higher then it really is.  Is there an easy way to fix the count to where it should be?

Run full maintenance then empty the forum cache.

Is the problem still there having run Recount all forum totals and statistics?

After running those tasks the member count is still higher then it really is.  I'm sure the only way to reset member count is long and drawn out.

what exactly do you mean by reset member count? the number assigned to the new members will not be reset when you delete a user.

Right, it states I have XXXX number of members when I only have XXX number of members.  I was wanting to get the count and number the members accordingly so the stats page is correct.
