Moving Forum, but don't have original files...

I have managed to get the file onto the database using Sequel Pro. After trying many different things, this did it within five minutes. Hopefully I should be sorted from here. I maybe back in a panic yet  :(  ;D

Thanks everyone for your replies.

Bigguy:
Glad to hear you are getting along nicely with it. Post back if ya need anything. :)

tamtid:
OK, I have database and files sorted. However the previous developer made the forum look like our website by writing in a header to match the rest of our site. When I have taken control over the site I have also designed a new website- so now this header doesn't match. Where should I be looking to remove this header?

Also is there any way that I can embed the forum into my new site (the navigation is on a sidebar)? I have dropped it in an iframe for now just so our forum members don't have lengthy downtime whilst I try and sort this out. But ideally would prefer it to be on our site rather than in a frame.

If you want me to post this elsewhere I will as I realise the topic is now deviating from my original problem.

Bigguy:
It's fine here, this is still your thread. ;) As for your questions, I am not sure. I would have to see what he has done. Maybe someone else can help you with that.

tamtid:
Thanks for all your help guys. I'm sorted- just got the task to customise it now  ;D

You guys rock!
