Hi! I have a problem.
I was testing the SMF forum out here
www. upcomingbands. dk /SMF/, and took a backup of it.
Then I got my new server, and I wanted to move it. But now both servers say
Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.
and I've tried to configure it in the settings.php without luck. What can I do??
K@:

If you have tried to configure it in settings.php then repair settings shouldn't be too much help. All I can say is ensure those settings are correct. Verify the validity of them with your host.
JimM:
After you verify the settings, definitely contact your host. That error message is something that can be seen quite often on shared hosting. It normally means that someone else has used most of the resources available so you will need to try again later. If you continue to get those, it's time to look for a new host.
