Upgrade SMF 1.1.16 to 2.02 display

Over the weekend I upgraded SMF 1.1.16 to SMF 2.02. I am using Ancedota 2.0 theme.

The transition went faily smooth except for one issue. The "New" icon  for messages isn't displaying in IE now but still displays in Firefox. In IE it has a red X with word new.  Is there is setting in IE that I should check?

The red x is a "Placeholder" for images that the browser cannot find. In FireFox you don't even get that if the image isn't where it should be. It could be that FF is using the image from it's cache rather than the site. In both browsers, clear the History Cache for the past week and reload the site to see if the image appears or not.

What shows if you use the Default "Curve" theme? If it's still missing, I would suspect you have some image blocking add-on issue with the browser.

Post a link and I'll check it out too.

You were correct. The code was pointing in the wrong place. I fixed the logic.
