Database Error from manual version transition

<< < (3/3)

Arantor:
No, there aren't. There's only one upgrade.php - the other files are .sql files which are required for upgrade but you need to run the .php file.

Liv42dayOK:
Yes, there are.  They all start with upgrade.... so that makes like 4.   The one I want is the one just called upgrade.php.

Now, the SMF utility screen is up and prompting for a username/password.  Is this the forum username/password?  The host username/password?... that's not specified in the on-line manual.

Arantor:
-sigh- I checked the 2.0.2 Large Upgrade package before replying to your previous message.

There is only one upgrade.php. The rest are all .sql files. If you're not looking at that you're looking at the wrong package.

Anyway, it should actually tell you what password it's asking for...

Liv42dayOK:
* sigh *  Unfortunately, it doesn't and tried both.  Then, I saw the light gray, small text at the bottom about disabling the security check. Thank goodness for that.

Liv42dayOK:
Well, I was sweating bullets there for a few.  It went good once I got past the login thing.

Once again, thank you for your timely and awesome assistance!  Now... to 'tweaking'
