What exactly is a Hidden user?
(1/1)
legitthemitt:
I've been wondering the exact use for a hidden user?
I know many of my users will use it so other members can't view what they're viewing, or bug them when they sign-on.
I was wondering if it affects anything else?
For example will they contribute towards thread views? For members who have visited today will it have shown the logged on for the day? (If not how might I be able to achieve this?)
Arantor:
A hidden user is one who does not appear on the list of online users (except to admins) and will always appear in the thread view to be offline.
It does not affect the 'last active' time in their profile.
It does not affect thread views. Members who have visited today are not normally listed anywhere (guessing you're using the Users Online Today mod - if you are, they're still logged being online, except it won't be shown to non-admins)

Thanks for clearing that up.
