Having Trouble changing Text Links to Images

SuperZambezi do you still require assistance with this.  If so look at the top sections of index.template.php you will see a section with alot of falses, look for the one regarding buttons instead of text links and set that to true.

I just checked and it is already set to true. It looks like that doesn't affect the topic options. Thank you for trying to help, and I am still looking for a soltuion to this problem.
