Loat default membergroups after convert.php from phpbb

Hollo,  I'm hoping someone can help me get this fixed as my site is going live in about 2 weeks.

Here is my issue.   I have a phpbb board that is currently up and running but come late August, we are switching to a brand new site utilizing simple portal and SMF.

I have been using the convert script (from phpbb to smf) flawlessley to test my conversion and all has been well until today.

After running the script, I lost the default colored "Administrator", "Global Moderator" and "Moderator" membergroups.  I don't know what had happened but they are now gone.   Is there anything I can do to get them back.   I checked phpmyadmin (hoping for a parsing error) but there are no records of the previously mentioned membergroups. 

Any help is appreciated

Can you explain a bit more what happened? Did you run an import from a phpbb database to an smf database and the membergroups worked fine in SMF and have now disappeared!?
