On smf2 i have to edit manual the themes like on smf 1.4?

The package system of SMF 2 will try to change the template files for all themes, however for best results you should check to see that the correct changes have been made for your custom templates.

Rumbaar:
Like LHVWB has said the Package Manager will attempt to install all code changes into all current themes.  But this might not work all the time in all mods and you'll still need to perform manual code modifications to get it to install into all theme or even in the CORE theme.
