Acf:
Can it handle big databases? (phpmyadmin likes to timeout with big databases)

Spaceman-Spiff:
i guess its better to make one that reads .sql files
so admins can upload via ftp

newer phpMyAdmin versions might be able to do that (i dont remember 100%)

It won't timeout because the script won't let it. It will be using LOAD DATA INFILE  --- http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/LOAD_DATA.html
